- Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics including pages visited, time on site, browser type, device type, and general location (city/country level). This data is anonymized and does not identify individual users.
- Technical information: IP address (for rate limiting and spam protection), browser type, device type, referring website

Quote requests:

Inspector applications:
Information you provide in an inspector application is used to:
- Verify your licence and insurance
- Create your public directory listing (business name, phone, service areas, services offered, and business description are displayed publicly)
- Contact you about your listing and quote requests
Contact enquiries:
Information you provide through the contact form is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not shared with third parties.
4. Who we share your information with (APP 6)
Building and pest inspectors:
When you submit a quote request, we share your contact details and property information with up to 3 inspectors who match your location and requirements. You consent to this disclosure when you check the consent box on the form.
Service providers:
We use the following service providers who may have access to personal information:
- Resend: Email service provider used to send quote requests to inspectors and send you confirmation emails. Resend may store emails on servers located outside Australia.
- Vercel: Website hosting and analytics provider. Vercel Analytics collects anonymous usage data. Vercel infrastructure is located globally and may process data outside Australia.
Legal disclosure:
We may disclose personal information if required by law, court order, subpoena, or government authority, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others.
5. Overseas disclosure (APP 8)
Your personal information may be disclosed to, or stored on servers located outside Australia through our service providers:
- Resend: Email services may use servers in the United States and other countries
- Vercel: Hosting infrastructure is located globally including the United States, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions
When we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure that overseas recipients handle your information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
